Global Coke (India) to feed coke batteries with African coking coal

India’s Global Coke has acquired 26% interest in a coal company Beacon Hills Resources (UK). According to thecontract, the Indian company will purchase the total annual output of high-quality hard coking coal, produced atAfrica’s Minas Moatize open-pit mine with a 4% discount from the quarterly revised prices. According to preliminarydata, the stake has been acquired for about $55 mln.
