摘要

Outcome reporting bias may have a substantial impact on systematic reviews of safety of interventions. Review authors must differentiate between no incidence of adverse events, and no adverse events were reported. The new Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) harms guideline will facilitate transparent reporting of reviews of harms.
