ETHANOL IMPORTS REACHED RECORD LEVEL IN 2018

Ethanol imports in December 2018 amounted to around 25.2 mln litres, trade data show, against 94.1 mln in the preceding month and only marginal volumes one year earlier. The December total included 19.4 mln litres from Pakistan, 3.2 mln from Indonesia and 2.5 mln from South Africa. There only were marginal arrivals from the United States.
