DISTILLERS ADAPT TO NEW DEMAND STRUCTURE FRANCE

With demand for disinfectants and hand-sanitisers booming ,the leading distillers are in the process of adapting their production capacities. Crisalco (the alcohol unit of sugar co-operative Cristal Union) is currently switching capacity at its fuel ethanol unit in Arcis-sur-Aube to 96° surfin and 99° grades. The plant has the capacity to produce 700 cubic metres per day. Other plants that supply these grades comprise Cristanol in Bazancourt and Dislaub in Bucheres.
