FAME exports in July 2020 totalled 64,794 tonnes, according to trade data, against a weak 38,683 in June and 72,337 one year earlier. The January/July total jumped to 483,315 tonnes from 327,769 in 2019. Out of this, 464,733 tonnes (267,374) went to the European Union, mainly to the Netherlands and Spain, boosted by increased demand for used cooking oil methyl ester (UCOME).
