VIETNAM'S COFFEE OUTPUT SEEN ONLY MARGINALLY HIGHER IN 2018/19

Last month we took a look at the US Department of Agriculture's (USDA) May updates of attache reports from the different coffee origins. This covered some 12 countries including top producers such as Brazil, Colombia and Indonesia but it still omittedfive important countries that account for about a quarter of global output, namely Vietnam, Honduras, Ethiopia, Costa Rica and Tanzania. The reports for these countries have now been released which completes the annual exercise from the different origins and this will now be followed by USDA's biannual World Markets and Trade report later this month.
