LANSING, Mich.-Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette this week filed a civil suit in Ingham County Circuit Court against Escanaba, Michigan-based VanEnkevort Tug & Barge, Inc. after determining a ship operated by the company had dragged an anchor across the Straits of Mackinac on April 1, striking submerged electrical cables and both segments of Enbridge Line 5.
