Evart Field step-out testing Dundee oil in Osceola County for Schmude Oil, operator Federated Oil & Gas Properties and partners

EVART, Mich. —A step-out of more than a half-mile to the southeast of abandoned Dundee oil production from the Evart Field has been successfully completed and is flowing oil on test, according to Schmude Oil owner Dennis Schmude, who developed the Smith 1-34 (SL: NE NE NE, Sec 34-T18N-R8W, Osceola Twp., Osceola Co.) prospect, which is being operated by Federated Oil & Gas Properties, Inc. A 30-day test on the well was commenced Jan. 25, with the well making an average of 26 barrels per day oil on a 3/64-inch choke over the first four days of the test, Schmude said.
