Executive Summary of Japanese Domestic Guidelines for Management of Deep-seated Mycosis 2014

The 1st edition of Japanese domestic guidelines for management of deep-seated mycosis was originally published in 2003, followed by 2nd edition in 2007. Subsequently, the "Japanese Domestic Guideline for Deep-Seated Mycosis 2014" was revised from 2nd edition with modification and published in 2014.Although these guidelines were established to improve management of deep-seated mycosis, their contents are uniquely consisted unlike to other guidelines. Hence, guideline includes three major chapters such as1 flow-chart and executive summary; 2 epidemiology, general diagnostics and treatment; and 3 detailed explanation for diagnosis and treatment evidences. Additionally, a new chapter for "Checklist" as a supplement was added to the 3rd edition.
