Recycling times from old issues of MRW are brought up to date on TV

Do you remember Without You by Harry Nilsson hitting the top 10? If you do, you may have also read an article in MRW- when it was known as Materials Reclamation Weekly - from 29 April 1972 which, after 46 years, has again been cast into the light. The makers of the Scrap Kings TV series are filming a programme about Brian Hirst, a scrap metal dealer whose family firm near Andover was featured in the article, 'Fragmentation in a rural setting'. The Hirsts kept a copy of the magazine for all these years {pictured), and it is an interesting read.
