Traumatic brain injuries in victims of intimate partner violence: an underappreciated source of neurological morbidity

It is long overdue to draw attention to the issues of TBI for victims of IPV and initiate universal screening and follow-up. Commencing a dialogue with victims of IPV regarding brain donation is another important and timely mechanism to address this problem by advancing the research agenda.
