FERC Issues Notice of Availability for HDD Draft Guidance, Comments Due by December 28

The Commission issued a notice October 26, that its Office of Energy Projects (OEP) has prepared draft Guidance for Horizontal Directional Drill Monitoring, Inadvertent Return Response, and Contingency Plans (AD19-6), and is seeking comments on the draft from federal and state agencies, environmental consultants, inspectors, the natural gas industry, construction contractors, and other interested parties with special expertise in regards to preparation of HDD monitoring and contingency plans associated with natural gas projects.
