FERC Issues Certificate for Natural Gas Pipeline’s Gulf Coast Expansion Project

The Commission issued a certificate order November 8, for Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America LLC’s (NGPL) (CP16-488) Gulf Coast Southbound Expansion Project. NGPL on 8/1/16, filed its certificate application for the first phase of the expansion, with two shippers subscribed to the capacity created by the project.3 The capacity to be developed includes the integration of existing capacity and expansion capacity of 240,000 Dth/d, which would enable NGPL to transport 460,000 Dth/d to an existing delivery point and a new delivery point in the South Texas Gulf Coast area.
