Environmentalists'-Sponsored Economic Impacts Study Finds Benefits Do Not Offset Costs Associated with Mountain Valley Pipeline Project (West Virginia, Virginia)

The Sierra Club, Virginia Chapter, on 10/16/15 submitted to FERC an "economic impacts" report for the proposed Mountain Valley Pipeline Project (MVP) (PF15-3). The submission by the environmental organization mimics a recent trend initiated by interstate pipelines themselves to backstop the economic legitimacy of proposed infrastructure expansions and greenfield projects.
