Enable Gas Transmission Faces Off Again with The Purcells; Dominion Blasts 'Late Filers' Protesting Four of its Gas Pipeline Projects

As an example of the continuing confrontational status of energy projects across the U.S., with oil and gas pipeline companies facing off with environmentalists, landowners and local communities, a new filing with FERC by Enable Gas Transmission, LLC (EGT) (CP14- 503) displays the tendency to party intransience that effectively has stymied efforts by EGT to get its Bradley Pipeline Lateral installed. Notwithstanding the initiation of the condemnation proceeding in Oklahoma state court, EGT says it has continued to attempt to acquire the necessary easement from one particular landowner -- the Purcells -- through negotiation. Despite its preference for a negotiated resolution, to date those efforts have been unsuccessful, the pipeline company reported to FERC this week.
