摘要

On or about April 22, the US Fish and Wildlife Service suggested to FERC that it should opt for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) review of National Fuel Gas Supply and Empire Pipeline’s Northern Access 2016 project (CP15-115). FWS Field Supervisor David Stilwell said in a letter addressed to the Commission, “it seems” an EIS under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) should be prepared, rather than a more limited environmental assessment (EA), “[g]iven the large scope of this project and other component upgrades” such as Northern Access 2015.
