Cheniere Energy and Korea Gas Corp. Commence 20-Year SPA for Sabine Pass LNG

Cheniere Energy Inc. and Korea Gas Corp. (KOGAS) announced June 25, the commencement of their 20-year sales and purchase agreement (SPA) to supply KOGAS with U.S. LNG from the Sabine Pass Liquification Facility in Louisiana. Chenier said it will sell 3.5 million tonnes of LG to KOGAS per year, which is 10% of South Korea’s annual demand.
