Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline, LLC (RP09-809, et al.) on March 4 handed FERC a settlement agreement that would resolve the issues set for hearing on 7/30/09 and 1/21/10, involving a general rate case filing made by Maritimes on 7/1/09. This settlement resolves all issues in the instant rate proceeding and sets recourse and negotiated rates for Maritimes. The settlement specifically sets forth the depreciation rates for transmission facilities as well as for intangible and general plant. The settlement also reflects the establishment of a rate case comeback requirement.
