NAUPLIUS WORKBOATS: Tough LUV

In 2018 Gronigen, Netherlands, based Nauplius Workboats became the first company to design and build a new line of vessels specifically for the demands of fish farming. The 1907 Landing Utility Vessel (LUV) is a hybrid design between a landing craft and a Multi Cat vessel, placing the wheel- house on the side. The decision to invest in the larger work deck and easy access has been well received as the company makes a name for itself in the Scottish fish farming market. From September this year; several of its 1907 LUVs were operational with Marine Harvest Scotland (Mowi).
