Telecom Egypt says it has successfully restored service on a number of subsea cable systems after the Dragon Storm. The service was interrupted in a few segments in Egypt after terrestrial cable cuts caused by the fiercest storm to hit the country in over 25 years. Heavy rainfall, destructive winds and dust storms led to large-scale power cuts in several areas in Egypt.
