There is said to have been a slow in demand for fertilizers in the Netherlands, which is unsurprising with the harvest ongoing and the second grass cut underway. Despite the current low level of demand, wholesale CAN 27% prices have edged up in the last fortnight to €158-162 fca ex-warehouse, and now roughly reflect low to high €160s delivered retail – better reflecting the €150-155 cif inland previously paid to producers. There has also been some positive price development further up the supply chain, with latest supplier sales by the likes of OCI and Yara reported at €155-160 cif inland.
