Conventional wisdom suggests that by continuing to apply lime to the surface it eventually washes down and ameliorates subsoil acidity, but is it actually true?The GRDC-supported Soils Constraints West research project, a collaboration between the WA Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and The University of Western Australia (UWA), is seeking to improve practical knowledge about lime application and ameliorating soil acidity.
