During the first ten years, most of our machines were delivered to manufactures of ejector pins and punches made of ground harden high speed steel or tool steel with a hardness of HRC 50-64. The goal at that time was to develop a process and a machine that could precision hot form the heads within the tolerance of ±0.025 mm (±0.001") and without swelling under the head.
