Dawn Polymer trials new HNBR facility

CHINA: Chinese rubber and plastics materials maker Dawn Polymer announced its successful trial run of a hydrogen-ated nitrile butadiene rubber(HNBR)project.Jointly developed with Beijing University of Chemical Technology, the project has 3,000-tonne annual capacity, said the statement issued 18 June.The facility is located in Yan-tai's Longkou New Materials and New Energy Industrial Park.The trial run began in March, according to the statement from the company, which is among the leading synthetic rubber manufacturers in China.The project has received investment of around €14 million(110 million yuan)and is expected to generate €69 million annual sales.
