Epoxy resins were patented even twice in the 1930s:in Switzerland and a few years ear ier in Germany.These polyethers are usually used with two terminal epoxy groups and cross-linked with amines.Their good mechanical properties and extremely good resistance to high temperatures and chemicals quickly made this group of resins a frequently used raw material.
