Traditional water-borne urethane dispersions perform poorly in direct-to-metal applications due to film formation issues and the hydrophilic/acidic nature of the dispersants.Polyam-ide-based urethane dispersions have significantly higher corrosion resistance and can provide single coat solutions with corrosion resistance and other protective features.
