More in store for Mooy Logistics: Dutch transport, storage and distribution company Mooy Logistics gave Eurofruit Magazine a sneak preview of its brand new facility, due to be officially opened at the end of January
Netherlands-based company Mooy Logistics is set to unveil a brand new, state-of-the-art storage and cross-docking facility on the Dutch-Belgian border this month as it looks to offer a more dedicated, combined warehousing and transportation service toclients serving the French market. At the same time, the firm will continue to provide customers with services to and from Germany via its centre in Waddinxveen. The 10,000m~2 building, which is has been built on 2.5ha of land located between the portsof Rotterdam, Antwerp and Vlissingen in Hazeldonk near the town of Breda, has 5,000m2 cross-docking area as well as 30 docking bays. It also offers coldstorage capacity for 2,500 pallets spread over seven different rooms, with enough space to eventuallyexpand this to 5,000 pallet places. The development will offer a range of transshipment options and handle all aspects of container trucking - transit documentation, customs clearance, value-added logistics and quality control - on site, with next-day delivery guaranteed to almost every destination in France.
