If there is one agri-food sector that is more innovative than the rest, it is the fruit and vegetable business. The recent edition of Macfrut, the international fruit and vegetable fair held in Rimini last May, proved this point with a broad and dynamic display of the latest innovations ranging from artificial intelligence and software to new connections and sensors, as well as research and development with particular attention on the environment.
