Ica clicks with Ocado

Sweden's largest supermarket chain ica plans to invest almost ?6om (SKr600) to develop a new and fully automated distribution centre near Stockholm that will enable it to continue expanding its online grocery business. The retailer revealed the plan after teaming up with British company Ocado last month, ica will use Ocado's e-commerce platform and technology -designed specifically for highly automated warehouse picking - and, in doing so, try to keep pace with growing demands for convenience.
