How many of you have ever been on a blind date? It usually starts with a close and "well-meaning" friend who approaches you with a demure smile (Mona Lisa-like) and suggests that you ought to go out with someone you've never met before — someone who "will be a perfect match for you." Since you don't want to disappoint your friend, you reluctantly comply. This is how I met metalworking fluids — my blind date — in a manner of speaking.
