摘要

The pH of waters from open well and bore well ranged from 7.0 to 8.9 and electrical conductivity (EC.w) values ranged from 0.2 to 2.4 dSnr '. Among the different sources of irrigation, the mean values of EC of open well were more thaniw 1(0.83 dSm-') those of bore well (0.61 dSm1)- Residual sodium carbonate (RSC) and sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) values were ranged from 0.0 to 19.4 meql1 and 0.3 to 14.8, mmoll"1 respectively. Out of 88 water samples from open well (52 samples) and bore well (36 samples), 44.2% of water samples were good, 9.2% of water samples were highly alkali and 46.6% water samples were alkali, indicat-ing 44.2% of water samples were suitable for irrigation.
