Nanotrechiama loebli, a new genus and species of Trechini beetles from China(Coleoptera, Carabidae)

A new genus and species of the tribe Trechini, Nanotrechiama loebli n. gen., n. sp., is described from southern Yunnan, China, not far from the border with Myanmar. The new genus appears to be directly related to the two sister genera: Sinotrechiama Ueno, 2000 and Protrechiama Belousov & Kabak, 2003 from Sichuan Province, China. All these three genera belong to the Trechiama-gpoup sensu Ueno (Ueno, 2000). In the elytral chaetotaxy, the new genus shows more similarities to the Japanese genus Trechiama(Jeannel, 1927) than to the two above mentioned Chinese genera. Externally, this trechine beetle differs strongly from the mostly hypogean members of the Trechiama lineage in its small size and robust Trechus-like appearance.
