With one third of the global population under some form of government lockdown in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,it has become obvious:We are not going anywhere fast.Cancelled cruises,grounded flights,empty trains and deserted motorways are now commonplace after global lockdown measures confined entire countries to their homes.London Underground passenger numbers initially plummeted by 95% compared to typical pre-pandemic levels,although numbers are rising again now.Meanwhile,data from global travel analyst OAG found that the number of scheduled flights in the last week of April was down 67% compared with the same week last year.
