LG Electronics (LG) has announced it will introduce two-sided solar panels to the Australian market later this year. The NeON 2 BiFacial - featuring technology that enables light to be harvested from both sides of the panel -is a milestone for the Korean company, whose standard modules have been popular in Australia for several years. Featuring a peak capacity of 300W, the double-sided panel makes use of a clear backsheet, which replaces the black or white backing used on standard LG solar modules.
