ExxonMobil approves light crude unit expansion

ExxonMobil will increase crude processing capacity by 250,000 b/d to take advantage of light sweet crude fowing to its 362,000 b/d refnery in Beaumont, Texas. Construction on the project, which would increase crude processing by 65pc, would begin this year, with startup planned for 2022.
