US reduces 2021 fuel demand outlook

The US lowered 2021 fuel demand expectations from a Novem- ber forecast in its latest Short-Term Energy Outlook. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) revised its outlook for gasoline and jet fuel consumption next year slightly lower compared to a November forecast, and left diesel con- sumption unchanged. The outlook increased diesel and jet fuel consumption estimates for the fnal months of 2020 compared to the November forecast.
