Chevron imported more than 100,000 b/d of Venezuelan crude in April, accounting for almost all of the sanctioned Opec member’s deliveries to the US. The company received 104,000 b/d of Venezuelan crude at its 340,000 b/d refnery in Pascagoula, Mississippi, up from about 31,000 b/d of crude the previous month and signifcantly higher than the 9,467 b/d reported in the same month of 2018. Citgo, US refning subsidiary of Venezuelan national oil frm PdV, imported about 10,000 b/d in April for its 425,000 b/d refnery in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
