The refiner expects increased flaring in the Carson end of the facility through 3am ET on 21 July, according to a notification to a community alert system. The unit or units involved were not identified in the notification. Separately, Andeavor had a weekend breakdown in the Carson end of the refinery when a compressor went offline, according to a filing to state hazardous materials monitors. The incident resulted in increased flaring.
