Chinese aluminium exports hit multi-year high

Chinese aluminium exports rose to their highest level in threeand- a-half years in June after US sanctions against Russian aluminium producer Rusal encouraged China to ship more material, Chinese customs data show. China's exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products stood at 510,000t in June, up by nearly 11pc compared with the same month a year earlier.
