Petroleum coke prices on the US Gulf coast continued to track lower on the week, with higher freight rates applying pressure on sellers to drop prices in order to compete on the seaborne market. Argus assessed freight rates on key routes from the US Gulf coast to India and Turkey at $40/t and $23.25/t respectively, up $1/t and $1.25/t on the week.
