Turkey’s coal imports remained frm in July

Thermal coal deliveries to Turkey continued to rise in July, increasing on the year for a fourth consecutive month, in line with stronger coal-fred power output. Turkey’s receipts of thermal coal rose by 688,000t to 3.6mn t in July, the highest since December. Imports were also up by 1.2mn t compared with 2.4mn t in June, according to data from statistical agency Turkstat.
