US coke exports set record post-Harvey

The US exported its highest monthly volume of petroleum coke on record in October, as the US Gulf recovered from hurricane disruptions and Asia-Pacific buyers boosted purchasing. The country exported 4.03mn t of green and calcined coke in October, surpassing the previous record-high in March and almost 1mn t more than a year earlier, according to US customs data.
