Coke prices drop as market absorbs court ruling

Petroleum coke prices slipped again this week, although there was a slight rebound in offer prices in light of an Indian Supreme Court ruling that softens restrictions on the cement market. Indian cement buyers and international petroleum coke sellers got some relief as the country’s highest court ruled today to exempt cement plants from its regional coke ban in northern India.
