China aims to revive Brazilian refinery project

China aims to expand its presence in Brazil’s refining sector by investing $7.5bn in the stalled 300,000 b/d Premium 2 refinery in Ceara state. If completed, the refinery would add to Brazil’s production of anode-grade petroleum coke.
