Bahrain’s state-owned Bapco has signed a fnancing agreement for a long-delayed modernisation and expansion project at its 262,000 b/d Sitra refnery. The project will lift the refnery’s capacity to 380,000 b/d by 2022, enhance the oil products slate, improve energy efciency and increase competitiveness and environmental compliance, the company said.
