Crude tanker operators are continuing to transport Venezuelan crude cargoes, despite warnings from marine insurers that do- ing so risks running afoul of US sanctions. Turkish vessel owner Gungen fxed one of its Suezmaxes, the Ottoman Integrity, for a Venezuela-Asia journey with 12 May loading on 7 May. Greek-based operators Cardif and Delta also fxed their tonnage last week for Venezuelan oil move- ments, according to shipbrokers.
