Egypt coke imports slump in 1Q

Egypt’s seaborne petroleum coke imports are on track to fall to the lowest frst quarter total since at least 2018, with US deliveries seeing the largest drop. Imports fell to 305,000t from 1 January through 23 March, ofcial port data show, with no new deliveries were scheduled for the remainder of March at the time of publication. This is well below receipts of 540,000t and 432,000t over the same periods in 2019 and 2018, respectively.
