Public health groups are wasting little time in challenging the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to scale back its CO2 standards for coal-fred power plants. The American Lung Association and the American Public Health Association fled on 8 July what is likely the frst lawsuit against the EPA’s repeal of the Clean Power Plan and its re- placement, known as the Afordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule.
