Russian refneries plan heavy maintenance in 4Q

Planned maintenance at Russian refneries in the fourth quarter is more intensive than in the same period last year, but less ca- pacity is scheduled to be taken of line than in July-September. Russian refneries plan to shut down 3.4mn t of crude processing capacity in October-December, compared with 1.8mn t in fourth-quarter 2018. The biggest reductions will be at Gazpromneft’s 240,000 b/d Moscow plant, Rosneft’s 140,000 b/d Saratov and 200,000 b/d Syzran, and Lukoil’s 290,000 b/d Volgograd refnery.
