Support for India’s fuel demand growth in the April 2019-March 2020 fscal year continues to weaken, with sales of new ve- hicles continuing to drop and the country’s economy expanding at the slowest pace in six years. Domestic sales of passenger vehicles fell in November with industry leader Suzuki, which has more than 50pc of the domestic market share, posting a 3.2pc drop from a year ear- lier. It sold 141,400 units last month from 146,000 units a year earlier, according to preliminary industry data. Sales during April-November dropped by around 21pc.
